Today I got some very important test results in the mail. It was a diagnostic test of sorts.  I recently decided to switch to a new lab for my print & product order fulfillment. Part of registration included 4 sample 8×10 prints of 4 photos of my choice. Each photo had a “No color adjustments” and “With color adjustments”. I was so excited to see that my photos required little (if any) adjustment. This goes back to my stance in the great “Does your equipment matter?” debate. I believe it does.

I am now certain that the color calibrator I use for my monitor was a wise investment!
